NOTE: By agreement between the Department of Psychology and the Haskayne School of Business, I am teaching the first year required graduate statistics sequence in a combined set of courses being offered as MGST 754 and 755 by the business school and PSYC 615 and PSYC 617 for the psychology department. Graduate students at the University of Calgary not enrolled in the graduate program in psychology should enroll in the MGST versions of these courses.

Management Studies 754: Linear Models I
Concepts, applications, and implementation of the general linear model in behavioural science research: Multiple regression, multiple and partial association, categorical predictors (ANOVA/ANCOVA), hypothesis testing, use of computer software such as SPSS, SAS, R, and Stata.
Winter 2026
Management Studies 755: Linear Models II
Extensions of the general linear model in behavioural science research: Dichotomous and ordinal outcome models, mediation and moderation analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, multilevel modeling, use of computer software such as SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, and AMOS
